Hello Everyone! I want to start of by apologising for the delay on this post, I’ve had some internet issues!
SO, if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you’ll probably know that last Thursday I attended Make Up Revolution’s 2nd Birthday Party in London! It was such a fun, glamorous night shared with other Bloggers and Vloggers and some of the people who helped Revolution get to where they are today.
Make Up Of The Night
I went with a natural glowy look with taupe lips and neutral eyeshadow with a classic winged liner! My foundation is NARS Luminous Weightless in Mont Blanc, Lipstick is NYX Liquid Suede in Soft-Spoken, Blush is Nars in Luster, Highlight is Mary Lou Manizer by The Balm, Liner is Natural Collection and Brows are Tarte Brow Mousse in Medium Brown.
I unfortunately didn’t get any good outfit posts but I wore this missguided playsuit with some strappy Zara heels and a h&m cross body bag.
The event was hosted in the gorgeous setting of Café de Paris, a 1920’s themed nightclub in the West End. The venue was so luxurious, which suited the many new and exciting products Revolution and their partners had on display, I honestly had to resist swatching everything! Especially since I was wearing white!
They held a drop in session in the afternoon for press to show off all their new products, which I unfortunately couldn’t attend! But I arrived for the evenings party after tackling the busy London Underground by myself (this is a huge achievement for me!) and met up with my gorgeous friend Shawnee. You can take a look at her blog here!
The evening kicked off with a presentation and speech by TAM Beauty Director Adam Minto, highlighting all the wonderful things that they have achieved in 2 years time and the importance of Bloggers in the Revolution success! Despite a few technical difficulties it was a really emotional speech and I’m sure everyone was feeling the love afterwards!
After the speech there was a few exciting announcements, such as the release of new Fortune Favours the Brave Palette, Revolutions first ever blogger collaboration with British Beauty Blogger! They really knocked it out the park with this one! I unfortunately was unable to get any decent photos of the palette but have inserted one from British Beauty Blogger’s site. All photo credits go to her. Look at that packaging!! You can pick yourself one of those palettes up online here. I am definitely going to get my hands on one!
Another announcement included the Makeup Revolution App! Where you can browse their latest products, find out all the offers they have available and see what exciting things they have coming soon! We were all encouraged to download the app then and there and I have to say I’m really impressed with it! The layout is so clear and its super easy to navigate, I would definitely recommend you download!
Now, for the biggest announcement of the night! Blogger Daisie Smith took to the stage and unveiled the #IAMFREEDOM Competition! Starting in April, 30 Entrants will compete through different rounds to be in the live final taking place in London in September, where the winner will recieve £10,000! I know, generous right? Superdrug also promised to double that prize money, but you can find all further details by checking here on April 1st!
After all the announcements it was time to get the party started, with Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills! He was really friendly and stopped to take photos with pretty much everyone!
We all danced the night away, or in mine and Shawnees case, attempted to dance! Sipping on Make Up themed cocktails, eating canapés and having a lot of fun in the GIF Photobooth! It was safe to say my feet were hurting by the end of the night but I had such a fun time.
The Goody Bag
When leaving we were all handed this super generous goody bag filled with some gorgeous treats from Revolution, Freedom Makeup and Superdrug! We were completely spoilt!
It included the following:
Freedom Make Up Pro Artist Pad (Black Arts), Makeup Revolution Rose Gold lipstick (Private Members Club), Makeup Revolution Flawless Metals Powder Brush, Freedom Pro Strobe Cream, Makeup Revolution Pro Brush Cleaner, Superdrug Lash (Edition 21), Superdrug Showercream (Dragonfruit and Vanilla), B. Sensitive Micellar Cleansing Wipes, Solait 60 Minute Tan, Colour+on Hair Toner.
I can’t wait to get stuck in to all these treats! I am especially excited about the lipstick and the brush, as I love me some rose gold! The palette looks amazing and I’ve already been using the wipes and they’re super soft!
I just want to say a huuuuge thank you for Makeup Revolution and everyone at TAM Beauty for such an amazing night. I can’t believe how far this brand has come in such a short amount of time and I can’t wait to see what else you achieve in the future! Thank you for changing the way we view affordable make up and being one of the only brands which continues to support bloggers and customers, no matter what their following may be! Congratulations and I can’t wait to celebrate with you again some day.
Have a magical day,
